Core and Independent Electives The great choice from among a wide variety of core electives in Business Administration differentiates the Major in Business Administration from other Bachelor’s programmes. The independent electives allow students to choose courses from other majors. The core and independent elective subjects of the Major in Business Administration provide you with the possibility of acquiring knowledge in a wide range of areas of Business Administration. There are about 30 different electives per semester from the fields of "Accounting, Controlling, Auditing", "Entrepreneurial Informatics", "Entrepreneurship", "Finance", "International Management", "Leadership & Human Resource Management", "Marketing", "Operations and Innovation Management" and "Strategic Management". In addition, courses are offered which deal with issues such as sustainability. Different courses are taught in the spring and autumn semesters, respectively. You can also choose courses from other majors as your electives. Core electives are generally weighted with 4 credits per course.
